የአድዋ ጦርነትን በማስታወስ የጥቁር ፅናት እና የአንድነት ብርሃን

በ1896 ከኢጣሊያ ወራሪዎች ጋር የተፋጠጡት የኢትዮጵያ ኃይሎች ጽናት፣ አንድነት እና ጀግንነት የአድዋ ጦርነት ማሳያ ነው።የመጀመሪያው ኢታሎ-ኢትዮጵያ ጦርነት ፍጻሜ የሆነው ይህ ጦርነት በታሪክ ውስጥ ትልቅ ቦታ ያለው የታሪክ ወቅት ነበር። አንድ ትንሽ የአፍሪካ ሀገር ሉዓላዊነቷን ከቅኝ ግዛት ወረራዎች በተሳካ ሁኔታ ጠብቃለች።

እሑድ መጋቢት 1 ቀን 1896 ዓ.ም በአድዋ ከተማ አቅራቢያ በዳግማዊ አፄ ምኒልክ የሚመራው የኢትዮጵያ ጦር የጣሊያንን ወራሪ ጦር በቆራጥነት ድል አደረገ። ይህ ድል የአውሮፓን አይበገሬነት አፈ ታሪክ ሰብሮ በዓለም ላይ አስደንጋጭ ማዕበልን በማፍሰስ ሌሎች በቅኝ የተገዙ ህዝቦች የኢምፔሪያሊስት ምኞትን እንዲቃወሙ አነሳስቷቸዋል።
